Does anyone know of a way to reset Rithmic data? I've tried the youtube link in an earlier post but it just give me credential errors.

Anyone have any issues with importing from Sierrachart? Nothing loads when clicking load statement. Account numbers are correct

IMO if you are depositing any reasonable amount of money with a broker, first and foremost only chose a broker that is situated in a reputable country and is regulated by an appropriate governing body. Second, and this is my opinion, stay away from brokers offering insane deposit offers, crazy leverage and weird ways to deposit money. Those are usually a scam. Not sure where you are but I'd look into IC Markets, Pepperstone, Oanda etc. well known.

VSA is definitely a useful tool but watch out because FX, for all intents and purposes, has no centralized exchange. there is no actualy volume to analyze. just its proxy of tick data which doesn ttell the whole picture of justhow much money is flowing

Like I just mentioned in another thread, Check out Mack's Price Action course. It takes some of Al's stuff and focuses on one aspect of it. In the end however, after countless hours of studying Al's stuff, he goes in circles.

Id check out Mack's Price Action which distills Al's stuff to a 2000tick chart on ES.

There are alot of seeminly successful people on twitter posting trades everyday. usually if they are super fancy with posts with lots of colors they are faking it. it's the boring people you want to pay attention to.

I would defininitely look into SC as db46 said. its monthly fee is ****** cheap and it kicks NTs butt. it is a futures focused platform

Money management and Risk management are the same thing essentially. Defining a trading edge and then determining how much MONEY you want to RISK per trade is what needs to be found. The only way to find a true edge is to take trades based off the same definable criteria and journal them to see if they play out. risking 1-2% per trade is standard.

I remember OTA being heavily advertised in my city. I cant imagine how much money they took from people to teach them what is available for free on every trading website.

It appears the person sells a portable version so i'd imagine it isnt locked to a specific system. I think only one would have to be purchased. I'd be interested in getting this as well. if you're willing, maybe buy one and we can see if it works for all of us?
