Pros:

Single time upload (no more reupload requests needed).

Permanent Upload (*as long as the Home server-s are up, no one can take them down).

Private Upload (no more third parties involved).

 

Cons:

Needs Home Server-s running.

Needs to run 24/7 or set time.

 

Cons Solution:

Use Raspberry Pi 4 or other low power usage machine, or NAS.

Create redundancy with multiple 'maintainers' of the repository Drive copy/clone.
