Hi everyone,

I am considering to use NT7 edu (ver 37) with Interactive Brokers.

Please your advice whether it's solid enough to be used for trading futures (Eminis) and stocks.

Thank you

NT7v37 no longer loads historical data. You need v41, which does not exist and will probably never be edu'd. Everything is moving to NT8.

You can read about the upgrade here:

Good luck!

I'm using it with IB for stocks, but you need TWS 972 to run properly, anything higher than that doesn't work

Too bad this wont be updated as NT 8 uses more than twice the recourses as NT 7 for the same amount of charts that I have opened

Anyone have experience with the jonsnow educated NT 8?

How stable is it and does it have any back doors ?

Thanks

Yes, it is one of the best platforms to use with IB in my opinion.

You could try to replace the v37 IB dll with the v42 one. It might work with the latest TWS then.

I'm a little Leary as I have everything set up just right and would hate to somehow lose it
