⭐ fxwin Posted June 3, 2021 Report Posted June 3, 2021 Hi everyone, I am considering to use NT7 edu (ver 37) with Interactive Brokers. Please your advice whether it's solid enough to be used for trading futures (Eminis) and stocks. Thank you Quote
⭐ zbear Posted June 4, 2021 Report Posted June 4, 2021 Hi everyone, I am considering to use NT7 edu (ver 37) with Interactive Brokers. Please your advice whether it's solid enough to be used for trading futures (Eminis) and stocks. Thank you NT7v37 no longer loads historical data. You need v41, which does not exist and will probably never be edu'd. Everything is moving to NT8. You can read about the upgrade here: https://ninjatrader.com/Advisories/N...ervice-Upgrade Good luck! ⭐ fxwin 1 Quote
⭐ ptop Posted June 6, 2021 Report Posted June 6, 2021 Hi everyone, I am considering to use NT7 edu (ver 37) with Interactive Brokers. Please your advice whether it's solid enough to be used for trading futures (Eminis) and stocks. Thank you I'm using it with IB for stocks, but you need TWS 972 to run properly, anything higher than that doesn't work Too bad this wont be updated as NT 8 uses more than twice the recourses as NT 7 for the same amount of charts that I have opened Anyone have experience with the jonsnow educated NT 8? How stable is it and does it have any back doors ? Thanks ⭐ fxwin 1 Quote

⭐ epictetus Posted June 8, 2021 Report Posted June 8, 2021 Ninjatrader 8 is a turtle compared to Ninjatrader 7. I'm very happy working on NT7, serial and smooth. ⭐ fxwin 1 Quote
