st_dee
Hi guys, i found some newly encoded videos couldn't be played by standard "Films & TV" app in Windows10, especially if the video is encoded with HVEC (H.265) codec setting. When we play this kind of file, it requires us to buy the codec from microsoft store for some money. We can easily use another video player such as VLC, media player classic, or any other player out there, but it would be easier to just install this codec freely from this link below, no need to purchase anything nor login to your microsoft account. Hope this makes life simpler, watching video course, for just a bit.. :D HVEC Video Extensions from Device Manufacturer ms-windows-store://pdp/?ProductId=9n4wgh0z6vhq ⭐ btul, ⭐ chullankallan and ootl10
