⭐ sapperindi
Hi, today I just found that one of my WD 4T hard drive cannot be recognized by computer. I tried all I can do including different cable, different laptop etc. It doesn't seem to be physical issue as once I power it on I can hear the disk running, Can anyone recommend a data recovery software good to fix file system or file table or partition damage? Appreciate any inputs

Traderbeauty
i used in the past EASE US and another one that i dont see in the list. Best is to try few of them- just be careful and make sure they dont format your disk before fixing it.
⭐ gadfly
If it can't be recognized, the issue is more likely with your computer rather than the hard drive. So plug it into another pc and see what happens. And you may want to check with WD customer support.
⭐ insaneike
Connecting the drive to another pc and then looking to recover data can increase the odds to recover data. If it's not possible to remove the drive then another way to poke around would be by using a live Linux booting over a USB pen drive and use data recovery tools.
