TD AmeriTrade Real Time Futures Data into NT

Not sure if theirs a way to bring the free real time data into Ninja Trader 7 or 8.

 

In demo mode TD AmeriTrade (TOS) offers Futures, Stocks, Forex for free.

 

NT7 or NT8 will connect, but won't plot Futures data, only stock it seems.

Tried many times before and could not make it work. No just for Ninja, but other platforms as well. I think its good for only stocks.

I believe NinjaTrader TOS API doesn't support futures data.

I also tried this, but works only for stocks/ETF instruments. Could be something to do with the futures symbols or symbol mapping, or could even be some exchange restrictions/regulations...

tda only provides stock data for Nt

for futures you will need to use TOS=thinkorswim

I think in this thread there is a big misunderstanding.

 

TD Ameritrade provide several financial services: stocks ; Etf; Futues and so on. Is another matter if the bridge with other services not working.

 

ThinkOrSwim is TD Ameritrade proprietary Platform.

I ran in to similar problem a while ago when tried Thinkorswim platform for data, every platform I tried to get data from TOS - only stock data comes through, even though TOS platform displays futures quotes
