I believe you are referring to Admis, who was an II user and the best educator on this site but hasn't been active for a very long time. Admis (user Admis, not admin/admins of the site) wrote time ago that the low price (in his/her subjective opinion) and the difficult to educate were reasons to not educate indicator of this vendor (but dtvolumenodesdetector was educated).
