Does anyone know how i can get a free data feed for ninja trader 7 and 8 maybe even something for stocks. If you have that data?

The only option nowadays is only EOD. Free data is almost gone, unfortunately!

Yes I think so. If you had an old account you can stay with it, but all new must to with NT. This may have changed recently.

In the sticky post "New Ninjatrader" on the top of this forum, some members were successful to use edu NT with living account, but i am not sure is it still valid and the whole procedure of setup.

Global futures have NT as one of the platform . They dont advertise this but if you call them they will confirm . Im Canadian and its only broker in a states I can use .

I would recommend using ThinkorSwim data connection. Just open an account with them for as little as $50. They don't charge any inactivity fees. You can bring in minute charts easily. The tick charts and unirenko charts will not load unless you keep chart open for a specific ticker. I'm tempted to get kinetik just for that, but in meantime I can get by with my minute charts.

 

I had a license for NinjaTrader broker. I was about to purchase a multibroker license for NinjaTrader. I came across a message in one forum where NinjaTrader converts the license from one broker to another free of charge. It saved me a few hundred of dollars.
