ninjatrader 7 or Bookmap 4.4

Hi guys,

 

Sorry, I have a question and i hope i'm not wasting your time

Well, i'm in the Combine till now. So, as soon as I finish i have to choice a plateforme with live licence

Now i work with ninjatrader 7 ( free ) & Bookmap 4.4 ( patched )

So i have two choise :

1- Buy live licence of ninjatrader 7 ( and run on it bookmap 4.4 patched )

2- Buy evry 3 month licence of Bookmap 4.5

 

Bookmap 4.5 is not so different from Bookmap 4.4 and i'm so happy with the 4.4 especially i have all te add ons. So, if Bookmap 4.4 ( patched ) run normaly in live licence of ninjatrader 7 i will more then happy. If not, then i have to buy evry 3 month a licence to run bookmap 4.5

 

So, what you suggest ?

From my side you wast time with both. NT 7 , 8 ... BC 4,4 4,5 5 ....

 

This because I think that the data feed of the retail investor is not the same of the istuitutional.

To be institutional :)

Data feed it's an other issue, but the data from Rithmic it's not so bad at the point you say it wast of time !!

I respect your point of view but I i disagree with it

At this point, you should even try to get your hands on some HFT stuff, but i guess strongly that's a new path to enter:

 

Becoming a trader employed in a BIG DOG Bank, or an Hedge Fund.....

 

Independant Traders having the financial resources for Institutional Datafeed have also to place their trading platform software on Very Pro / High speed / High Security Servers, located vey close to DATAFEED providers Nodes etc...., on the Internet TREE...

 

 

Another story, sure.....Different worlds....

Yes, absolutely. And the data feed from Rithmic it's one of the best in the market ( Sure IQfeed it's better )

But yeah, it's work with NT
