For those of you using Interactive Brokers on edu NT7..

Interactive brokers seems to be forcing an update to TWS version 949.3. I am on 944.3 which is what NT recommends to use with NT7 but IB will be discontinuing the 944.3 version leaving some of us without a way to trade on IB with NT7 edu. Is there other versions that work other than 944.3 with current NT7 edu?

 

Edit: I did read a post saying NT are working a new NT7 that will work with current TWS.... but if that version can be edu is yet to be seen i guess...

I am at IB, and honestly, i guess they are THE BOSS in the relation IB / NT...so, YES, what you have read is probably TRUE : the NT Boss would say : yeah, we will

as soon as possible make a FIXED version for continuing to be used by IB customers...

 

BTW, if the 944.3 is continuing to work correctly ( without profiting maybe of some latest FIXES / functions ), maybe we will have nothing to change NOW....BUT if, when you conectIB, and see that everything / something doesn't work anymore, BIG WARNING / DEFCON 5, and i am sure the initial cracker of NT 30 / 31 / 33 ( Jatt ), will face the same problem and will fix the new NT....
