Eric Nathan Posted December 12, 2016 Report Share Posted December 12, 2016 Hi Indo members, Back in 2014, I purchased 2 top quality,Ninjacator bestsellers, called the ncatVolatility Super Trend and the ncatBollingerMACDBreak indicators from a very good NT Cracker, who is now out of business.(He attracted too much heat from Ninjatrader and other vendors,and had to "disappear"). In those years,I had changed OS and updated several components of my computer rig,including my hard drives and I had misplaced his customer IDs,without which would render his cracked indicators useless.So I had a big problem as I really loved the indicators as they worked well. Until now I had no way to regain the use of his indicators,but my overseas trading friend OsmanIM advised me to approach our brilliant and helpful friend admis,and to see if he could help. Well thank you OsmanIM because admis was very nice and offered to help me with the problem! He has managed,very ably, to do away with the OrderID controls and also fully cleaned the indicators for me! And they now work and work well! So all credit goes to admis. Thank you very much admis! Most of the traders have pinpointed that the import fails to find the proper Ninjatrader market analyzer directory to place the ncatVST indicator. When I first installed the cleaned indicators by admis, I did not have any problems at all. Everything installed properly and worked,after restarting NT7. Btw, I am using Ninjatrader 7 64 bit 7.01000.32.(but the indicators work with both 32 and 64 bit) Most likely your NT market analyzer directory is not yet formed.Have you worked with MA yet? When you do it will form a it's own directory in your Ninjatrader directory.Go ahead and try working with market analyzer. https://ninjatrader.com/support/helpGuides/nt7/?market_analyzer.htm Or else you can always try lulules's method in post #7.That will work too.All the PM posters to me say their indicators install now and work. And if you have no wish or use for the MarketAnalyzer, and just want the Volatility SuperTrend indicator,then use this link. Of course, with your wide experience, you should give the various Supply/Demand, Overbought/Oversold and Support/Resistance indicators that you have found here at Indo a good test with the ncatVST indicator Buy/Sell arrows. Also you should play around with it's settings in the parameters to see which would suit you the best.Tune it's Period(Look Back period) and Smoothing parameters to different levels.Sometimes their algo gives a Sell arrow at a LL bar and Buy arrow at a HH bar.So definitely reset the parameter settings. In my own testing I have found that the 5/10 EMA crossover direction is a good filter.But you may be different.So lots of testing is necessary. What you want,depending if you are a scalper or a long term profit seeker,is the crossovers to take place at the best positions for success,like high up it's panel for a sell and lower down the panel for a buy.It's all a matter of testing and the same goes for the BollingerMACD Break indicator too.
