Sorry supertrade, but i do not use Omnitrader for my real trading but I tested the software on a 32-bit VM, several months ago, and everything worked, that's all... I don't like it very much, i can not say anything else ...

I used Metastock Data, so not in real time, but it's enough for technical testing

Data in Metastock format can be used! Whether it is realtime or EOD, so long the data is in MS format, you can use OmniTrader.

I am sorry, but the idea to use OT for intraday is just scaring me to hell. Just try to find some independent review on this product.

Well, i have said it before on some thread ( laser1000it remembers probably ), the Nirvana Guys are making these Omnitrader and other "trading" softwares essentially as CORES A P P S, permitting them to sell a bunch of Satellites products, add-ons, services ( Datafeed).....

 

Probably a very profitable business, i have not the numbers about their sales / profits, but we would be maybe very surprised about HOW MUCH they make.....

 

Make think me about a kind of Sports Car Builder business model :

 

Well, we make the UltraGT 2016 : V6 200 bhp, 6 sec 0 to 90 , 4 discs brakes, 10 inches wide tyres / 18 " alloy wheels

 

then, you can get addons:

 

V8 atmospheric 300 bhp / V8 Turbo 370 bhp / V8 twin-turbo 550 bhp

 

4 wheel drive

 

Kevlar body

 

CArbon(Fiber monocoqhe chassis...

Kesk is right, omnitrader can read live MS data. Can't comment on esignal or IQ, never tried them on it.

You are rigth, but only for EOD data... in real time you can not use MS...

For real time, I think kesk means MS data can be saved to a folder. Next, use omnitrader to open MS data.

I did read the thread. Link #48 wasn't working for me yesterday and isn't working today.

 

 

The file you are trying to download is no longer available.

This could be due to the following reasons:

The file has been removed because of a ToS/AUP violation.

Invalid URL - the link you are trying to access does not exist

The file has been deleted by the user.

Hey strat57, the link does not work. Did you actually try downloading the file? It works up to the point where it asks you for the code, and after you put it in - then it says file no longer available.

My very last legal copy of OT2008 was installable, but after 30 days a further key was required......

 

So after 6 weeks we should know. Anybody yet used his copy for more than 30 days?

Only links are 100% tested :D

 

Omnitrader in this pack ( OT 2016 pre-release 3K-3028 ) no longer works after 30 launches (not 30 days) ... so unistall and install are necessary , too long task but possible, so on my side this pack is ok only for testing or punctual need...

You are right buddy, I didn't follow it through because I didn't need the program. I should have know better just by looking at the link. In any case SignalTime has it right. My apologies for any confusion I may have caused anyone.
