G'day all.

As requested by SINGtrader, who requested I upload Navitrader for the comparative research work he is doing.

Okay Mart. Here is your NaviTrend Pivot indicator

The veterans already know and probably have Navitrader but the new traders most likely don't have it yet.

First close NT7 and here is the educated .dll file ( Final.NaviTrader.dll) which you just have to copy and paste into the Ninjatrader 7....bin/custom directory.

The following indicators will be included.

NaviTrend Pivots

NaviTrend HiLo

NaviTrend

Navi Bars

BigMO

Velocity Channel

Navi Squeeze Strategy (NT7 Strategy)

There are many many instruction videos on Navitrader on YouTube.

Final.NaviTrader.zip (289.03KB)

Stevie many thanks for your help mate. Have read your recommended reading material like qualifying the pivots with "Peaks and Troughs"and now I can finally compare the similar correlated indicators of two different systems.Sorry mate for troubling you so much, but you were the only one who was kind and willing to help even while sick. You have my deepest appreciation my friend. :)

So my 2 cents. I compared the NaviTrend indicator with the Market Cycle and discovered that the Market Cycle gives a lot more signals as well as its accuracy is greater after 3 bars of the same color. I ran them both on the same chart on renko 4-2 bars with the Market Replay. I would say the signals are about 70% the same. I simply ran both with the default settings just to avoid personal preference bias added.

Jane, I have managed to install all the Trading123 autotraders and indicators (which includes the Market Cycle indicator) from Watson's very kind share of it in this thread,

http://indo-investasi.com/showthread.php/27634-REQ-Trading123-Autotrader/page3

post #27.(Many thanks to Watson).I believe the link is still active.

Yes, a simple comparison of the two indicators has proven my suspicions true and fxknight is right about his findings too.Sometimes Navi(NaviTrend) and MC(Market Cycles) print the same indications for the same bar, which I primarilly found was for the HH(Higher High) and LL(Lower Low) and sometime the LH(Lower High).

There are also times when one system will print an indication but the other one won't, and I guess that has more to do with the different repainting coding involved with the different systems. But more or less the winner would be the Market Cycles indicator because it does seem to be able to clearly define the correct and expected bar for the proper pivot (HH,LL,LW,etc)

Btw, repainting is the norm for these kinds of indicators as stated previously by stevemoore, cashmanic and joewilson.

Here was today's chart of ES 09-16 (GZT FullRange 4Tick) 01-Sep-2016 with both the MC and NaviTrend installed.

(To open the chart in fullscreen, rightclick and Open image in new tab)

Thanks steve. So just to confirm you don't import the zip but copy/paste the dll file to bin/custom?

Thanks a lot!:)

Btw, SING please let us know your findings.

Yes that is correct Osman.Unzip the file Final.NaviTrader.dll, and copy/paste to ...bin/custom dir.

And you may also just do a general compile (F5) of the indicators too.
