Well first of all the problem with this indicator as good as it looks is that it would only work with educated version of Ninjatrader, cause for this one to work you'd need the chart trader enabled and with the direct version or the free version you don't have that option so it wont work.

 

2nd, you don't really need this indicator if you work with the educated version, you can install rainbow indicator witch is free and you'd have the very same function exactly as shown on this video

look at the properties for rainbow indicator and you'll see the vast options you can have

the problem again is it works only when the chart trader is enabled hence only with educated version of Ninjatrader

You are correct.

 

The tool needs Chart Trader open.

But the Direct version of NinjaTrader does not offer Chart Trader.
