Hi Admis

Just forma my understand due to not Boeing a programmer when you mention kbar in source forma that jeans I should manage something on it?

Thank you

If have other bars installed with the same slot you can't see it.

Use bartypeslot indicator to see which slots are taken:

in this case custom2 is busy and final0 is free, so you need to edit bartype.cs and change form custom2 to final0:

them import indy bar and restart nt.

ok you will see it in the bar types. It has to go in ......Documents\NinjaTrader 7\bin\Custom\type

Lastly you have to edit any indicator and compile it.

Here's an indicator I made which does a simple measure of the time (in seconds) between the current and prior bar close. You might want to bring it up on your favorite non-time dependent bar chart you're using to check this K thing out on, comparing where they say the entry point is to how much time you actually have, in real-time, to get in:

https://www.sendspace.com/file/lu694u

For the fast price trendline, the K people use a T3 indicator (comes with NinjaTrader) with a default setting of 9, 2, 0.5, which is basically a smoothed 9 period moving average.

Now, *just* for comparison, bring up an RJRS 2.0 3-1 chart (posted tons of times on indo, go find it) on the ES or CL or 6E. That chart will pick up either all of the 6 tick reversals or failed attempts at them. If you put my hokey simplistic bar time indicator on that chart with the same T3 settings the K follks have, you'll see mostly the opposite. That is, you have plenty of time to get in on the pullbacks to a 9 period smoothed moving average of your choice and you're already in when the super fast 1 tick body bars are running away from your entry.

My personal opinion on "fast scalping" is that, for it to be a decent edge, you either have to bite the bullet and pick a pullback point to get in because that's when price is slowing down (i.e., a minor extreme), going opposite to your intended direction, OR volatility needs to be low enough to where even the slightest advance in your direction doesn't tip off major slippage.

Just food for thought. It's not my intention to say their K thing is junk, only that it's a well-known thing that a fast, scalping trend on a futures chart is going to get its pullback ending close enough to a 9 period smoothed moving average to where you can get on board before it takes off again. It's a big DUH, that's all. If the 9 doesn't catch it (usually does 2-4 times before deeper ones), then a 34 period smoothed ma usually does (tends to track the hottest fib area for the more patient, first 2 pullbacks have the best odds).
