exp48967 Posted August 4, 2015 Report Posted August 4, 2015 to trade with NT or is better stay with W7? Quote
⭐ laser1000it Posted August 4, 2015 Report Posted August 4, 2015 I've updated my previous W8.1 Pro to W10 Pro. No problem with N7 and many add-on (demo only). Even so I've riformatted the system with W8.1 Enterprise. I'm waiting for new W10 update maybe available around September. exp48967 1 Quote
Top1 Posted August 4, 2015 Report Posted August 4, 2015 (edited) I updated from 8.1 to windows 10 no issues with ninjatrader 7 . The chart windows are now using less space then before on the left and right side there are no unused spaces. see link below how it looks http://gyazo.com/f9c0c27a3a163ffd001dcf1b87f66697 Edited August 4, 2015 by Top1 exp48967 1 Quote
Luccast Posted August 4, 2015 Report Posted August 4, 2015 You can change the border thickness in Windows 7 as well. But can't set it to 0 like this. **Cool** Quote
⭐ zbear Posted August 4, 2015 Report Posted August 4, 2015 (edited) I tried Windows 10 on a test rig and its cool with new features but not necessary for a trading workstation. Windows 7 is solid and bug free. Windows 10 is brand new and still contains bugs, though a major update "Service Release 1" is expected in early August. Just like trading, everyone has a different style. Pick what works for you. Happy trading everyone! Edited August 4, 2015 by zbear exp48967 and ⭐ laser1000it 2 Quote
Banner Posted August 5, 2015 Report Posted August 5, 2015 Totally agree with Zbear. I even have a XP machine to run old programs. ⭐ zbear 1 Quote
rondonelli Posted August 6, 2015 Report Posted August 6, 2015 I noticed link button encroaches on minimize button as shown in post#3. Search on ninjatrader forums also list this problem Quote
puiu288 Posted August 6, 2015 Report Posted August 6, 2015 No need of W10 from my part. Did w 10 improved someone"s trading skills ?:) Quote
