Yeah, tough task... It's made by a French coder (a freak about the protections). I'm tempted to try, but it's a pity, I have not too much time...

I did a Market replay with level 1 data on range/minute chart.

The pivot dots occur with heavy delay of sometimes hours.

So without manual or guru we seem lost - at least I do.

Or the program is just silly.

Yes, you are right! Applying fibs from clear pivots work better. But the pivotsniffer shows me the sniffpivots with such a delay that I can clearly identify these myself before the sniffpivot software shows me(e.g. the low spike of 3 hours ago showing the clear lowest so far I can see, but the sniffpivot software still has not plotted a dot yet on that location).

So applying fibs to the sniffpivots with such a huge delay may work out well, but it involves the risk of being too late.

Also I am a daytrader, never go overnight, and as such I may look to the market different from you.
