I'm going to continue to trade buddy in SIM this week with a 1 minute chart in ES, CL, TF, NG, ZW, and ZS. I'm looking to select 2 markets for cash trading next week if this one looks "typical" of the past month's action. What impresses me is volatility recently hasn't been extreme and yet Buddy is holding it own. Of course, with a daily loss of $600 and profit of $900, targets can get hit quickly.

If this proves to be consistently profitable, it won't be the first time a developer's strategy was improved by an outside beta tester, yours truly in particular. Time will tell and I'll post my findings on a daily basis. I expect the worst and hope for the best.

Reminder, Buddy closes trading at 12:00 EST.

Can you reupload that one please, the link is dead. Thank you

I suppose, this should resolve all the conflict errors. The source version includes the newest (what I could found) indicators from ana package and used by BBTC:

[spoiler=ana]

anaADXVMA.cs

anaButterworthFilter.cs

anaEhlersFilter.cs

anaGaussianFilter.cs

anaHoltEMA.cs

anaMovingMedian.cs

anaMovingMedianTPO.cs

anaMovingModeTPO.cs

anaSuperSmootherFilter.cs

anaZeroLagHATEMA.cs

DSMA.cs

DTMA.cs

DWMA.cs

TSMA.cs

TWMA.cs

ZeroLagTEMA.cs

7z archive with known pw: https://www.sendspace.com/file/d6x4nn

After uncompressing 7z, the BBTC_src.zip is ready to import in the stardard way into the NT.

Let me know only in the case of serious problems.

A good recovery day for Buddy. I'm dropping ZS. It isn't suitable for the strategy.

Can your "Buddy" do this?

yamantaka, how many trades do you take for each instrument?

As I look at this performance page, I scratch my head and smile. Although many, if not most of these trades call for doubling and tripling down--which is out of reach for the typical retail trader--why doesn't the developer beg, borrow and steal money so he can trade in a cash account? I'm sure he could find a financial backer. Who wouldn't be interested in taking a cut of those juicy YTD profits (even after deducting for commissions)?

So I ask you all, what's wrong with this picture?

I totally agree with you! I too was thinking the same

I found a bug in the software. If in a trade, the system doesn't close it at the StopTime, which is what I prefer in my strategies. Instead, it waits until a stop or target is reached.

More than likely, I will not be trading TF when going with real money.

In my case is actually the opposite happening, I'm allowing only one session from 20:30 to 00.00 (aka 9:30 to 1 EST), but somehow 2 hours later exactly the session is ending and active positions are closed. I will try to change the hours and see if it helps.

Try Exit on Close=False and see what happens.

trying 2 hours to install this %$#^ with no success. I did try everything that was suggested here. ( I do have all the ana indicators. I did reinstall them and all ....) Does anyone have simple .cs file that does not require the dll's ?
