yamantaka
Lately, I've been watching, not trading, setups based on PATS and other known PA methods in ES and ZN. PATS trades ES and recommends a 2K tick chart, 10K Vol., or 5 Minute and you can experiment with other data series as well. Yesterday I chose a 1000Tick and 500Tick on ES and ZN, respectively, because trading was slow; and as a filter, I'm using the 50 MA which is not in PATS teachings. His main tool is the 21 MA (yellow). Since I like to be conservative, the 50MA is preferred over the 21. It gives less signals (both winning and losing). Price doesn't have to touch or trade through the 50 (very close is okay) but the trade is stronger, I think, if the former is in place. Intraday trends can often switch multiple times as you know. https://www.sendspace.com/file/4bkklr https://www.sendspace.com/file/qlan29 Good luck with your trading. ⭐ mr12323, nawlins51, Wanderer and 4 others
admis
If you've changed a timeframe from the default 2000T to 1000T (2:1), then a period of moving average should be also changed from 21 to 42.

yamantaka
If you've changed a timeframe from the default 2000T to 1000T (2:1), then a period of moving average should be also changed from 21 to 42. Technically speaking, yes; but the 50 is my preferred filter for this setup as I indicated.
