Tostao
Thanks for the link; however, in order to use the program, it requires the user to logon to a TradeStation account. What now? I would like to use TS with EOD stock data. Can anyone tell me how to import EOD data into TS once I get it working? If what you need is to work with EOD data, In my opinion it is better to do with multichart solution. Is more straightforward bring free data from google or yahoo. Even better yet bring from Bartchart, because you can access intraday (delay) data for futures, stocks and currency. Saludos,
Bill Bundle
Does MultiChart have point & figure charts and the option to code my own custom indicators and scanners? Bill Bundle
Thanks. This sound great. Now all I need is to get past the logon screen. I tried to login with a fake name and password, but now I get an error that the TS network is disabled. I thought that the TS programs that are posted in this forum are educated and I wouldn't have any problems using them. Should I be using an earlier version of TS? Hi Bill; In TS 9.1 is possible work with EOD data in Metastock and ASCII (.txt or .csv) format. For this, go to toolbar (above) and look for "Symbol Lookup" button. Then: Symbol Lookup > Add > then select the folder with MS or ASCII data
Tostao
Bill, If you are using the solution TS9.1 with Quoteroom not need to login, but you must be aware that you must first run QuoteRoom. On the other hand, to the question of multichart the answer is YES. You have point and figure and also can code own studies in EasyLanguage or C# if you get the .NET solution. Pd. I will try to upload some pictures later of P&F charts Add. Bill Bundle
Sounds interesting. I'll need code to do the horizontal and vertical counts for the point & figure charts. I hope someone has this. I guess if an EasyLanguage code works on TradeStation, then it should also work on MultiCharts? Do you know anything about this? Tostao
Sounds interesting. I guess if an EasyLanguage code works on TradeStation, then it should also work on MultiCharts? Yes. ( except if the code uses some kind privider data classes module), almost any code is imported directly. Do you know anything about this? I do not have very clear since I have not worked with P & F, but surely there are codes in easylenguage to work with P&F charts, Bye
Bill Bundle
ELD code seems to have been compiled. Is there some way to view the lines of code?
