I did look into trading123 and it seems to me the same as all other lagging sets of indicators. I thought that this magic cycle indicator will save the day but ... as you could guess it seems to me just a longer term indicator that prints a vertical line after it sensed a big move in one direction. You can make money with it the same as you can with a simple moving average in some cases but then on a day with shorter moves that fluctuate up and down you will lose it all because by the time you go long the market will kick you out and cause many loses and same for the short of course. Instead- just watch a 2-1 renko spectrum and just go with the trend- meaning: AS LONG AS WE DID NOT BREAK ANY PIVOT DOWN- THEN KEEP GOING LONG ( same for shorts ) You will faint if you see how many es points you can make every single day with this simple method and no indicators needed.
