tryitagainmf
Mates: Have a particular RossHook123 indicator that requires some coding assistance to improve it. For me, the RossHook has been a powerful trading help, used in a very specific (probably non-standard) manner. I look at it when the "3" is formed (NOT the RH itself) on a certain type of Renko/Heiken Ashi setup. The problem for me is that I would like to have the number print much bigger/bolder on the chart and/or an alarm/alert sound when the "3" prints. The .cs file has 2400+ lines of code and I have tried to add some components to the file to achieve my print or alert goals...all without success. So can anyone interested in looking at the code point me in the right direction for either or both modifications? http://limelinx.com/c2swm Thanks! Cheers! Mick Hi tryitagainmf, Hope all is great with you-good for you coding stuff--geez if only I could. attaching link to the ross hook that omaron(have not seen around but hope all is ok- and Thank You! for all) provided some time back--Not as a replacement for the one you posted, but rather for the code(not that I have a clue--LOL) But in the indi parameters this one has settings for font, size, etc.. thought maybe you/or anyone willing to help can look in the code and figure out how to apply to the indi you want to modify. %5Bimg%5Dhttp%3A//i57.tinypic.com/dxb4ph.jpg[/img] https://anonfiles.com/file/bf0b14493c951ee6333da134d3a695b8 Hope helps, Have a great one! I do have that version you are showing as well and when I compare the two, my "original" version provides the "3" for the hook far more reliably...it is a .dll so I was not able to get into the open .cs file and "cut/paste" the desired sections. I'm going to open that .cs file with Notepad++ to see if I can copy/paste anything! Thanks again mate! Cheers! Mick Howdy all Am hoping to revive this thread started with a request by tryiitagainmf(Thanks) I am attaching two indis the one that tryitagainmf posted for alteration and the indi I posted (contributed by omaron(Thanks)) 1. The goal would be(see above or keep reading) to adjust the code to the one provided by tryitagainmf so that the user can adjust the "font" size and "color" (my addition-- spacing from bar would be great) with relation to the printing of the "3" plot or all the numbers if being specific to the "3" is to much-- 2. provide an option for an alert when the "3" is printed. Here are the 2 indis for review: from tryitagainmf *this is the one to be edited with above requests cs version http://www.sendspace.com/file/cl9anq This is the one I posted from omaron(Thanks) that has the ability to change "font"(hope is of some help) cs version http://www.sendspace.com/file/9bsrqv If any of the gracious and talented individuals on the forum here would be kind enough to take a stab at this--is much appreciated as always! Thanks in advance p.s. if in any way I can help(can't imagine how--LOL) Please just let me know? edit: the one I posted- does have .DLL so am including a link to the whole indicator(don't know if that helps or not) DLL version-- http://www.sendspace.com/file/rfvhtl Again thanks in advance for some help-- edit2: Howdy, tryitagainmf, please add here if I have left anything out-- Edited February 19, 2014 by newbie0101 in case ⭐ whinny, tryitagainmf and soma
yamantaka
This isn't a major undertaking for a skilled programmer and could be done for $50, I suspect. I understand the desire to get it free so can one of the current BMT members post it there and then bring the modified version back to this thread? newbie0101
