See Picture http://imgur.com/a/ebks6 http://imgur.com/a/ebks6 I also tried the gomi and acme delta indicators and they seem to fluctuate too much between positive and negative values even in strong trends when using any type of renko bars. I think it has to do with how the renko bars are generated. According to some of Jay's videos, the symmDelta is supposed to work well with renko bar types and eliminate some of the choppiness you get with other delta indicators. I noticed that the numbers look off if you use the symmDelta on minute charts, so I would only use it on renko bar types. Here's what I got out of the videos, the idea is to use the symmDelta on a slightly higher time frame as a filter for your entry signals. Jay has a 3 symRenko chart with the jaySignal indicator for entries and uses the symmDelta for confirmation on a 4 symRenko (for GC) and 5 symRenko (for CL). So when you get the entry signal on the 3 renko, you wait for the bar to close on the 4 or 5 renko with the symmDelta in your direction before you jump in. Then when the symmDelta closes in the opposite direction, you exit the trade. Its today, and the Day is young :-) I hope also, ya took the Sym5 Setup short (arround 49.54). I´m out on the Black-Chart-Line.
