Hi,

I am testing stategies for only 2 months ! I work with daily stock price.

Unfortunatly the results are inconclusive. But i am not discouraged.

I want, now, to analyse the trend. But, absolutely, i would have needed the " turning points addon" and accesory the fuzzy sets.

But the link of this 2 addons is dead ( thread Neuroshell Sucks 03/11/2011).

Someone can help me in a valid link, or share ?

All my life i been an advanced get user ,but recently met fund manager and he is switched totaly to neuroshell and deviced his own strategy turning allmost 200 percent profit with maximum drawdown to 250 percent but all recoverable ,thus tryin my hands on will update as soon as will able to find something fruitfull

Hi , i have not forgetten you , but i have been busy today !

I 'll load Turnings Points this week end.

About my systems : i want to use the VIX index to "forcast" the Cac ( French index).

My seventh attempt is the best, but totally inadequate :

46.2 % profitables trades, annual return on trades : 1.8 %, 132 winnings trades , 153 losings trades. and this before commissions paid and whithout slippage . Shade i have for now. No person interested in my results at this time !

I want to work the trend to avoid the noise in the price. This is why i have request the link for Turning Points. The idea is to use the trend between the peaks and valleys as output in a neural net work . That do you think ?

% of winning trades doesn't matter as long as the risk reward or the profit is high on the winning trades. Losses cant be avoided and it should be made small, that's the trick.

 

If you are trying to make predictions, then I think you are in the wrong path as predictions wont work. No one knows what the market will do the next day as so many variables are present in any particular day.

 

However, if you are successful, I will be happy.

You ' re right Kesk. It is impossible to make fair price forcasts .

My idea is to learn to NSTD, from historic converted in indicators , the status of the trend ( found by turning points).

This will allow me later to initiate positions .

I have never had the opportunity to try the Interchart Tool Add On for Neuroshell. All links are working no more .I saw on the other thread in the forum on this subject that this is considered as a rare tool So, if some guy has it and is willing to upload it , please share. Thank you.

When i extract the file i find 3 files :

1/ TurningPoit.EXE ( whithout "n") ,

2/ readme.txt

3/ TPOINTS.DLL

When i execute the TurningPoit.EXE , i have this message :

" ! Cannot execute "C:\DOCUME~1\Alain\LOCALS~1\Temp\Rar$EX80.672\Turning points\TurningPoit.EXE"

The file readme.txt is :

"Upload time: December 16, 2008, 13:54:44

File saved from http://www.fxreal.ru"

I don't know whats wrong with your installation. I can install it just fine. In fact, I tried in 2 laptops, 32 bit and 64bit and works fine on both systems.

 

Probably your virus software prevents the installation. Try to find other ways of installation.
