Regarding Market Delta- just wanted to let you know that if you have an account with most of the known brokers- ( i use AMP) then you get cqg future data for free AND- you can use Market Delta TRADER

for free- totally no charge.

True- its very limited but it gives you the essence and shows you a footprint miniature chart that shows you if you are at the right side of the market.

Just wanted you all to know.

Does the old version you posted work with free CQG data or with subscribed IQ feed?

No- i tried to connect it to cqg and to iq feed with no success- i got an error saying that a certain dll ( forgot what it was- something 32 ) is missing so i just gave up.

To be honest I kind of disappointed of market delta,

All i need from it is to tell me if my entry point is valid from the volume side- meaning- if i want to go long at a cetain level i want to make sure that there are buyers, and MD is not definite about it.

I actually started to use hawkeye volume indicator but i let it update intrabar not at the close and the results are same as MD even better.

Tell me what you think- is there any other volume indicator that can do that job ?

IB does not deliver real time streaming tick data, their data feed is what's called "real time sample data", it will not have complete tick data

Totally agree, it was they call a "snapshot" of the market, taken around 2 times a second... totally useless if you want to trade with ticks charts.

 

For this reason I've closed my IB account years ago :))

I am first time to try MD.

 

Q1 I followed your insturction to install MarketDelta

 

when I configure Data Source/Broker , I can't find CQG in market DataSource.

 

I have apply CQG demo from AMP on MarkedDelta , and have run MarketDeltaTrader too.

(.. must also run MarketDelta Trader. MarketDelta Trader connects to the CQG Order Routing System and MarketDelta Charts connects to MarketDelta Trader.)

 

Would you please kindly post the installation of MarketDelta with CQG in detail?

 

Q2 : after I changed AllowTrialActivation = True , and restart MD , check it still remained =False.

Get a demo license. Edit the hosts file. Install MD. Run MD, go to setup >> Configuration: AllowTrialActivation = True. Close MD. In the directory MD change the native file to this: http://www.sendspace.com/file/owqs3b Run the MD-one time with this file. See that changed the picture and the image appeared with the choice of the time zone and trial on 29 days. Close MD. Return of the native file MD ago. After 29 days repeat the procedure to replace the file. Sorry I really didn't understand English! Look up information about the file:

Marketdelta does not connect directly to CQG.

In order to use CQG as a data provider you need to install market delta trader which DOES connect to CQG.

The only problem is that if you have an account with AMP futures like i do then your live data is configured by the broker to allow only one platform.

In my case i am using the data to run my ninjatrader, so if i want to run marketdelta also i need to either open another account which is very cheap through amp or keep extending the demo account data.

Candyman- the one i uploaded does work with interactivebrokers and maybe esignal.

thats the best we can do till version 11 will be educated or use iwahc method.

i cracked 11.1.11 (99.99%) the crack for the one you uploaded was easy to duplicate, but is not complete. there are additional patches that need to be addressed.
