hermes
...and all the Great Karl Dittmann? Signal arrow indicators are the best repainters! They repaint your apartment and are dry in 30 minutes! And no difference if Hourly, Daily or Nightly TF. Still best performance and less repainting on Renko charts. puiu288
...and all the Great Karl Dittmann? Signal arrow indicators are the best repainters! They repaint your apartment and are dry in 30 minutes! And no difference if Hourly, Daily or Nightly TF. Still best performance and less repainting on Renko charts. Hermes Is there any difference between repainters and non-repainters ? Think about if it is a difference between a repainter positioning an arrow on let"s say bar 1 and deleting it on bar 2, and a no repainter positioning an arrow on bar 1 and another one on the opposite direction on bar 2 or positioning no arrow or positioning very late an arrow pointing into a direction valid for only 2, 3 bars ? Or , if you"re scalp trading on candles , can you say that a repainter is not good for at least 1 bar ? About Karl Dittmann : i have read many of your posts on this subject and they made me smile because they were very humoristic . But , if you look in a objective way through all his indis, you have to agree that there are also some good stuff . Best regards.
apresau
"Repaint" can be a loosely-used term. What I do to see how an indicator behaves is to watch it live on the strategy tester. For those of us who may be new to the MetaTrader platform, here's how I do it - Open the strategy tester (View -> Strategy Tester) Select any EA (we're not interested in the trades) Select a short timeframe (too short and the chart is too choppy; too long and the process is too slow). Select Model - Every Tick. Select currency pair and dates from a live chart that are typical of the market you want to test (e.g. ranging, trending). Apply the pair and those dates to the Strategy Tester. Select Visual Mode. Hit Start. When the tester chart is running, drag the indicator in question onto the chart. Watch the antics. Hope it helps someone. puiu288
hermes
Good instructions apresau! Everybody is testing indicators on M1. There could be a difference of quality in testing indicators repainting. In general all indicators repaint to some extend. jmaran
In the strategy tester the blue and red dots don't repaint... How is this possible? :-? The TF of blue red dots is 240, and i tested the system at 15M timeframe... Why don't repaint? Any explication?
biclam
When we use another TF that the TF of the strategy tester, it use the data stored. So the system know the future data so it does not repaint. The only test to see if it repaint is to test with the same Timeframe.
puiu288
New download link : http://rghost.net/50968877 If you're tired enough by fancy , nice coloured systems , give a try on this one, new version . I suggest : keep on your chart only uni-cross and snake indis , attach also to your chart this : http://rghost.net/50970501 Entry / exit rules : Wait until SATL and snake lines are crossing. When the arrow of the uni-cross plots on the chart , entry long/short.Exit trade when the next arrow plots on the chart.Better results on high TF (H4 ,D1...).
