MadScientist
Hi everybody, I am looking for a Volume Histogram indicator (as in Market Profile) for TradeStation. If open code exists for another system, I will be happy to rewrite it into Easy Language. Could someone please help? Thank you very much in advance
FXWallabie
Hi MadScientist; Price distribution and Volume distribution are original settings in Tradestation. In Tradestation, look in Indicators list, Activity Bars page, and select Price or Volume Distribution. You can find a explanation in this site: http://www.eminiplayer.com/2009/11/how-to-setup-volume-profile-chart-in.html Also, you can find a TPO Indicator in www.kurtosistrading.com
MadScientist
Hi FXWallabie, Thank you very much. I don't particularly like any of them but it is always easier to have something to build on.
FXWallabie
Hi MadScientist; I have Market Profile (Sirtrade version). I´ve a .ELA code + DLL. Look: http://www.sirtrade.com/market.htm But is old, for Omega 2000i, because the .dll file work in 16 bits. My PC work in 32 bits, and I can´t do that you work in 32 bits. If you can work with this, or modifying the .dll file in order that you work in 32 and 64 bits, then I send you.
FX_SuperTrader
Hi again FXWallabie: http://www.sirtrade.com/market.htm Excellent, Market Profile indicator, also I have a TS code but I haven´t a .dll. If this .dll is in 16 bits, of course, do not work in 32 bits. Please upload your files; I´m not a programmer, but if any programmer read this post it is possible that you may convert the file to 32 and 64 bits. MadScientist
FXWallabie, Thank you very much for your kind offer. Correction is probably possible by writing a wrapper, but I would prefer something like this: http://i.imgur.com/AEoq1.png It is easier to read and avoid issues with font size. Thank you,
FX_SuperTrader
Hi saktis; I tried yours files. Compiled perfectly in TS and MCH, the .dll file is not necessary. The settings are not easy, but for me is the best Market Profile. Work fine in both programs. If you have problem with the settings tell me. Thanks =D> saktis and FXWallabie
