I read that new metastock 12 will not permit third party data, so its pretty finished , unless one don't upgrade, I think every one will turn to amibroker, it also cheap and have great backtesting. Anyway would like this plugin too also if anyone can share red rock thanks

Amibroker is a good trading platform; althought, I use it for analysis only with real time data from RTQdownloader. I use Karthik Marmar's VPA indicator. Karthik is a genius programmer, but the copy of his indicator that I have doesn't have descriptive comments for all the symbols that it charts. Some comments are missing. Maybe someone has a corrected version of his VPA indicator.

I have both VPA 1.1 and VPA 1.2. They both have missing comments. Do you use these and have you noticed the missing comments?

what about the different it have comments did you check it also different background anyway thats all I have sorry. I think different with black background thats what you are looking for. it also says L by Karthikmarar and have all the comments Edited October 29, 2012 by metal

I am also using Karthik vpa in amibroker real time for trading. He has coded it as per tom's book and has included his modifications also. if you notice lot many things are not there in his code but its good for trading. I have further deleted many things out of it and using it with no open bar chart.

 

i hope you are having a pdf written by him if not please tell will share.

I've seen how Karthik's indicator works with real time data in Amibroker and it works well even with a few indicator comments missing. However, I have real time data sources for both NinjaTrader and MetaStock and right now I'm trying to find a source for the TradeGuider addins for either of them too.
