I don't have the IQ of a genius and even I am able to make shiploads of MONAAYYY with no indicator at all.... It's all in the price action dude!! 1) ALWAYS trade in the direction of the trend and use trendlines and S&R 2) A trend occurs when price makes higher highs and higher lows and vice versa for downtrends 3) ALWAYS use stoplosses 4) Make lots of MONAAYYY 5) Repeat process How simple can life be.... But 99% of traders (especially the noobs) are staring themselves blind at indicators while everyone should know the only thing indicators do is FOLLOW Price, therefore called LAGGING. If cluttering your charts with indicators works for you... stick to it! And yes, trading could be really simple once you commit yourself to reading price action. And since you like throwing around profit numbers so much: I average $1,200.- daily and I won't stop until I've reached 5 grand a day simply by WATCHING PRIIIICE Enough said and time wasted on pathetic comments, back to my charts.... Funny though, how I got 18 requests for more information on my "system". I've replied to every one of them and I will make a PDF explaining what I do and why. Anyway..... In the past few years I too was on a quest for the Holy Grail of trading. Well.... I don't mean to burst your bubbles and you've probably heard it all before but THERE IS NO SUCH THING!! Trading means hard work, dedication, perseverance and most of all resilience!! And YOU are your own worst enemy!! Trust me on that one. Next, it is useless to keep looking for the perfect indicator or combination of indicators simply because that doesn't exist either. Indicators seem to fail in different market conditions every time again (trending or ranging/consolidating prices). Copying other traders' methods/strategies doesn't seem useful either since trading is very PERSONAL(!!) depending on one's Risk Tolerance/Comfort Zone/Trading Style etc. etc. So many beginning traders become frustrated and demotivated by the overkill of indicators, strategies, methods, robots and other **** that's offered, they don't even know where and how to start (I've been there, done that and it was a very expensive lesson learned, believe me). Best thing to do is to find a trading method you feel comfortable with, THEN learn to MASTER it and most of all: STICK TO IT instead of switching from one "strategy to the other". You'll be amazed how you end up with a very simple system (BTW simple and easy are 2 very different things!!) And believe me, you WILL be profitable in the long run.
