skan Posted January 3, 2012 Report Posted January 3, 2012 Hello In this site there are people that knows a lot about "tweaking" software. I hope you could help me. I'm using Multicharts since some time ago, and I feed it with data from TradeStation. New data is downloaded almost instantaneously in TS, therefore my connection is OK and TS is OK, but when I try to download it from MC it takes a very very very long time (Sometimes one hour to load historical 1 minute data). I know there is an option to save it in a database but it only works after you must download it first. I think that data is transfered from TS to MC through TCP packets How can I tweak it?. I guess there exist some hidden option to shorten the packet waiting time, maybe in MC or maybe in Windows TCP protocol. It doesn't make sense to me that a local connection is slower than an connection over the net. MC says they can't help me.
