junglist00 Posted December 9, 2011 Report Share Posted December 9, 2011 If Brokers actually made money from the spread, they would not have a problem with you making money from rebates ... from what I have read rebates are paid by you getting a percentage of spread when you trade. JasonKwok Posted December 9, 2011 Report Share Posted December 9, 2011 Go Markets is BS. They claimed that they allowed any type of EA to be run on their platform. But later when they found out many are trading this type of EA to earn rebate, they stopped the zero pip Stop/Limit order distance and later stopped the entire rebate program for IB offering cash rebate for their clients. STP brokers earn from the spread. But some STP brokers like Go Markets, does not like to share portion of the spread with their clients.
