Just running H1 BT and the Ea doesn't trade that much

It's a martingale that is getting it's signals from several MAs;

Just finished M5 2011 BT

Martingale is killing the performance

If you hit the SL with 4 positions it takes a huge number of winners to even recover the loss

Maybe the EA will be profitable in the long run....but it should have it's problems under ranging conditions

 

EDIT:

I like the way this EA is trading....it's betting on a trend continuation after price retraced/pulled back to the MAs

And my backtest result is not good.

Don't know whether additional indis will really help

You will for sure avoid losing trades, but winners will be missed, also

I think it requires some analysis of the trades taken whether or not there is a repeatable pattern when better to give up a trade rather than martingale it
