I have tested the PI-OSC, and its accuracy is far from consistently reliable. T-stats are low. And, on standard correlation metrics, R-squared has brought a meager 60~70% depending on time frames and data sets. Just my opinion...

Ok the PI-OSC indi on my Tradestation looks very similar to some stockastic and WPR indies with coloration at the extreme. But the PI-OSC doesn't cleanly range both extremes. On the hourly eurodollar it's just bouncing down off the bearish extreme. Should I really be going long in a bearish trend??? I could sit there trading that, perhaps. It depends how the PI-OSC crests and falls back at a sharp angle. If it does it in a smooth manner in real time then it has possibilities as a sit-on-your-butt-watching-the-market indi. The bounces off the nadir look ok but only time will tell if that look is deceptive.

Perhaps I'm expecting too much from PI-OSC because it's not even listed as a forex market on the product website. Lack of volume info may be a deal breaker. Anyway I'm grateful for an opportunity to massage it firsthand instead of squinting at blurry screenshots.
