I've downloaded and installed Tradestation 8.7 and Owndata 2.7 but I don't know how to download automaticaly the stock data from owndata.

I can access to offline mode of tradestation and Owndata is working.

Can someone tell me how to get automatically data without having to import ASCII files manually ?

Thanks

use the following symbol format F:<yahoo symbol> and make sure you are charting DAILY, does not work with intraday intervals

Sorry but I don't understand.

After I loggin in offline mode and that Owndata is running, what do I do to get the End Of Day data of a stock ?

Torso,

1. Create a new symbol in Owdata (IBM for example) and choose Free as data source

2. Create a new chart in Tradestation using Daily as a time period, type F:IBM for example as the symbol, should load the data from Yahoo

I have tryed what you said, but it doesn't work.

I create IBM and then type F:IBM but it doesn't load the chart.

You can notice that it's written at the bottom "Winros is not found because Esignal is not installed properly"

Here are the parameters in Owndata:

Another thing: it's not possible to download all the stock automatically, we have to create manually one by one to download ??

evg,

I think you need to install virtualbox ( free prg ) and windows xp on windows 7 32 Bit or 64 bit so it can run without prbl and no risk of virus and malware

Thx val2004 :D
