Kristianto Posted January 4, 2012 Report Posted January 4, 2012 most broker allows trading in gold and silver. you just need to search for the symbol XAU (gold) and XAG (silver). i see saxo platform the leverage is 50X for spot gold/silver. and there are many ways you can trade gold/silver. 1) FX - buy/sell spot gold/silver 2) CFD - contract for difference. CFD is smaller denomination of gold/silver Futures pricing 3) Futures - buy/sell gold/silver futures. the contract size quite expensive. 4) ETF - gold/silver ETF (exchange traded funds) are very popular because they are less risky 5) Stocks - buy gold/silver mining companies. saxo bank offers trading for all types of methods, altho i personally do not trade gold so i have not tried putting a trade in yet. good luck! mjs 1 Quote
