hermes
There is no good manual for it but I put all the idas of other traders together and it is quasi mosaic of Goiler trading. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=RFPA6E72Â Trading Goiler is a foxy trading many times reversal trading. Read it all and demo it first! EURUSD 1H is the best solution for to be a winner! The indicator gets fed at GMT +2. At that time put a pending order. One trade a day. fxeasy5
The indicator gets fed at GMT +2. At that time put a pending order. One trade a day. Hermes Little correction here. The indicator takes the daily candle of your Mt4 when it closes and calculates the levels for the new day. This happens exactly at 00:00 of your broker server -time. If your broker-server is located in a timezone like GMT+6 , the daily candle on that Mt4 is completely different from a broker who is located at GMT+2 . The indicator does not care where your broker server is located. It will draw the new levels at 00:00 server-time. If you want the same daily entry-levels which the author recommends ( GMT+2 ), you need at least a demo-platform of a broker which has that GMT+2 server-time. For example: FXDD , Pepperstone and PROFX . taipan, charrob, Lounge and 1 other
daretolive
thanks fxeasy5. certainly better than trying to figure out the gmt with different brokers. when i signed up pepperstone, they were initially gmt+0 and changed to gmt+2 recently. daretolive
just realised. we would have to keep track of the daylight savings season? that's when the clock is fast forward 1 hour.
fxeasy5
just realised. we would have to keep track of the daylight savings season? that's when the clock is fast forward 1 hour. The indicator doesn´t know about daylight savings season. It is coded to take the daily candle. At 00:00 broker server time the new daily candle opens. The yesterday candle closes. Nobody has made backtests to find out what daily candle is best for each pair. Maybe for Euro pairs it is GMT+2 , maybe not. In order to find the best daily candle worldwide for each pair, one has to backtest all available broker-platforms ( GMT-0, GMT+1, GMT+2, GMT+3 .... etc. ) and on top of that compare each of them in the 2 daylights-saving-modes. Then you could come up with something like: Use FXDD platform in summertime on EURUSD but for USDJPY use another broker platform. In winter-time don´t use FXDD but use xxyy-broker platform because it gives better signals than FXDD. I don´t believe that somebody will take the time to analyze this all. daretolive and taipan
vince-ac
Goiler is built on Gann principles! You are right. We have a Goiler II. Hermes hi hermes, any chance to get a copy of ver 2? thanks.............vince
hermes
vince-ac the Gunn mod eng is Goiler II. Trading with Goiler is like trading in fog. Be careful and if you must trade only EURUSD. Goiler has a negative results from previous years. If you plot support and resistance lines and play between them you will be much better on than trading Goiler. I added Stoch, MACD, EMA10 and round numbers indicators for clearer decision. It is better and it is for free. Goiler is a fog indicator because the owner of worldwide coded the indy that way that the price doesn't shows properly to delude the buyers. I wouldn't bother with Goiler even I have them 5 from different sources. If you use Delphi indicator you have the same picture. The Goiler is charged after 22:00 GMT (should be 00:00GMT). vince-ac
hermes, thanks for the explanation, i respect your opinion i thought they had a version with a gmt offset, will check out the delphi indicator. thanks.............vince
nor888
Hermes what indi in your opinion is most accurate for divergences? CCi MACD STOCH
hermes
Plot all 3 and compare if all 3 the same indication trade a million. Ha, ha, ha... Every indy has a different angle, therefore combine them is very useful. Eg. Stoch is good for range and MACD for trending market to feel the trend direction. They have a new version with gmt offset I don't have it. Ask Stovedude. Hermes Edited May 25, 2011 by hermes

hermes
It is not easy to get the new version majjed is sitting on it like chicken on eggs. You can use the Gun-mod it gives the same indications. Just play between the lines. Hermes

taipan
hermes,on what broker it is better to use this indicator?Since it has no gmt offset option...... According to Majjed, Forex Clearing MT4 broker's mt4 gives the most accurate indication. hermes
taipan is right but all the traders using Goiler report almost the same results. If losing day all lose no broker can save them. I don't trade Goiler but it sits on FX Primus and gives solid advices on EURUSD 1H. Just visual testing. Hermes
vladv
hermes,do you use Gunn_mod indi OR Goiler v 1.1 or v 1.3(the one with GMT offset option) on EUR/USD 1H chart, and you use it only for trading advice as a helper for your other strategy?Am I right? :)
hermes
Yes vladv you are right I use it only for possible trend direction on EURUSD 1H. It is very much as Delphi system , playing between the lines. I don't have the v 1.3 do you have it? Gunn_mod is clone of Goiler. Now maximo created Boiler EA which acts as Goiler and looks like it is successful. Hermes
