Moon phases are worth watching for stock market investors and forex or commodity traders.

 

It is a public secret that some well known investors use(d) Lunar cycles for market timing, for example the legendary W.D. Gann.

 

But it is hard to find the more specific details of their methods.

 

We don't need to be a believer in astrology to make use of it in our investing decisions.

The physical effects of the Sun and the Moon are easy enough to observe in nature.

 

If oceans , plants and animals can be affected by the Moon, then why not people?

 

So, we set out to study the effects of Lunar cycles on stock and other markets.

Not just the effects of full and new moons, which are considered by more than a few investors already.

But also some lesser known moon cycles.

We tried all of them.

Examples

 

Here is the daily chart for the Nasdaq Index since the beginning of 2009.

As you can see the Apogee and Perigee of the Moon often coincides with short term tops or bottoms in the market. It also marks several major tops and bottoms this year.

Out of 20 extremes in apogee-perigee no less than 14 generated a reversal in the market.

My friend, they have a free trial which is limited to showing one month ahead which is plenty, my opinion is to download a program called Time Stopper (available free) use this to run the free trial forever, all we need now is the ebook, anyone please have the ebook, please share..

The vertical (blue) lines in the charts of post #2 represent full and new moon data - these dates can be found at any moon calendar site:

The red circled dates are for the full moon and the blue circled dates are for the new moon. That`s all.

Would be great if it was that easy, if you download the trial there is a lot more to it than that, there are another 4 stratergys at least inside the actuall new moon and full moons taking place, if it was that easy anyone could do it and would not need the software.
