danny_pip
Hello blaster, my backtest did not show the same curve, although it's profitable but with very big DD; do you have al manual also ? Thx for sharing this. I found the website: http://www.expert-advisor.webs.com/
soundfx
Guys, This EA has been around for a while, see: http://codebase.mql4.com/6896 To get a curve like that, the settings were optimised and you can get them from here for a small fee by the looks of things: http://expert-profit.webs.com/
danny_pip
can somebody share the optimised settings ?
Stormin_Norman
i couldnt even get the thing to backtest. ill have to look at the code. probably not 5 digit compatable. i will say however, that with such small TPs and break evens, MT4 quality data testing will be totally bogus. ⭐ musketeer
be aware of it... Close[0]==High[0] :) and do some tests on control points instead of every tick
Guest blaster
I don't know if it could work on real :)) and let me test it on cent account
Stormin_Norman
Hey Norm it back-tests OK with Go-Markets 90%. It really does seem profitable according to testing. I wonder how it'd go on a real account? Tested from 1st June 2008 until 25th feb 2011 and it didn't blow the account :-O Nice share. cheers for the headsup. i used the one above and it works. the issue was that the quotes are in decmil pips, ie 10 times smaller then quoted. ie 3=0.3. so the max spread value had it not running. Guest blaster
I had some huge imcome and big lose with optimize ,and it's need time to find why>:)
Stormin_Norman
I haven't lost anything because after a couple days on demo it hasn't placed any trades. I might have closed and re-opened the platform a few times but that should be fine I think. It trades far less and loses when tested on true tick data. MT4 interpolation seems to effect this EA greatly and its results are not true on mt4 backtests. jake
if you backtest 90% you have see margincall but 40% 50% 60% it`s good.. i means it`s no real use !!! fogot !!!
⭐ fxknight
Its of no use unless you find an imaginary broker with zero spreads or close to it. It may work well on a demo account with 0.1 spreads on the EURUSD but when using on a real accunt it will have a high drawdown. Cheers
Guest blaster
thank you for remind us . there are no 0.1 spread broker .forgot it :)
