ProteusSoftware Posted February 13, 2011 Report Share Posted February 13, 2011 Hi, I'd like to give a short intro to "Proteus 5", a indicator which aims to predict where the price will go in the near future (a few bars). This indicator was meant as a tool for the manual trader, not a system, although I'd like to see people use it in a expert advisor. It's best used together with other indicators and systems; it's goal is to remove lag (it's a leading indicator) and to give the user an idea on where the trend is going. By doing so, it will predict the future values of the MACD with very nice accuracy (tested on random samples), while also providing a nice visual histogram for easy interpretation. There's a video and more screenshots on the official webpage. It provides a very good guess about how the price will move in the near future.
