I attached my custom-MA indicator to a chart.

It is EMA-5-Open cross with EMA-5-Close.

The signals are better than those of the Turbo Marksman.

It is for free, but I understand that still many rather want to have

the Turbo Marksman.

Would you please post your EMA crossover indicator. The ones I have do not permit using open and close.

Sorry, it was not there when you asked. You have been too fast. :)

 

I just played around with the settings on different timeframes,

like EMA-3 Open crosses EMA-2 Close and whatever you desire ....

The signals are superior , just experiment on each timeframe.

 

This indicator does not repaint.

The arrow appears at the open of a new bar after the MAs cross and stay forever.

I will post the mq4 and an MA-cross indicator with Alert too in a minute.

I have inserted comment lines into the Alert-version, so you know what mode you may choose.

 

FastMA_Mode_ = "0=sma, 1=ema, 2=smma, 3=lwma, 4=lsma"

 

FastPriceMode = 0;//0=close, 1=open, 2=high, 3=low, 4=median(high+low)/2, 5=typical(high+low+close)/3, 6=weighted(high+low+close+close)/4

 

Same options for the SlowMA.

to make to get the ema with alert the same as the one without alert?

That one gives better signals thats why my question.

The settings are:

FastMA_Mode = 1

FastMA_Period = 5

FastPriceMode = 0 ( which is "close" )

 

SlowMA_Mode = 1

SlowMA_Period = 5

SlowPriceMode = 1 ( which is "open")

I also agree with fxeasy5's post #2. Marksmen doesn't have the better signal, sorry Buckhardwillde.

Does marksmen have a way to stop the constant alerts? i am getting alerts in my journal and a sound is playing but i dont recieve the alert via a pop up.

 

the alert sound is non stop and and the alert is filling up my journal file

 

oh the madness LOL

 

the signals are decent if you can deal with the alerts sounds
