According to the video,

-- the balance as of around Nov 17 was around $2,500.

-- Now take a look at the performance sheet on Nov 10 at 16:55

-- LeoTrader sold 1.9 lots of eu at 1.36860.

-- The price went as high as 1.382 before coming back down for the small profit on Nov. 11th - a drawdown of 134 pips

1.9 lots is $19 per pip X 135 pips (allowing only 1 pip for spread) = $2,565

-- which would have blown up the account a week before Nov. 17th????

sounds a little fishy to me....

It's a mini account, not a standard account. Recalculate the pip value...

i just checked this trade. the 6.5 pips profit was $12 in profit which means the lot size traded was actually .19

so by my calculations the account could not have been blown.

so deposit is 500, as seen at the start of the graph. yet we end up at minus 1200. how does that happen?

not just a scam EA but a scam broker in on the gig. f***ing crooks.

I put my money on the average scam...it's hyped way too much.

I bet there's something severely wrong with the results.

As Stormin' Norman has quoted Niederhoffer: "It is inconceivable that anyone will divulge a truly effective get-rich scheme for the price of a book."

Edit: Aha...see...?

SCAM...This must be one of the biggest hoaxes I've seen. Broker playing along with the scam this time. Scary.

I recommend to avoid this EA. Don't even touch it with a 10 ft pole.

when the account says 0.20 lots, is that 2 mini lots or 2 micro lots?

1119833 2010.12.14 05:45 sell 0.20 gbpusdmam 1.58628 1.61928 1.58528 2010.12.14 12:43 1.58528 -0.14 0.00 0.00 2.00

the profit is 10 pips. 1.58628 - 1.58528 = 10 pips. 10 X 0.2 = $2.00. so this is a micro lot. if 0.2 were 2 mini lots then the profit would be $20.00.

was the above graph done with micro or mini lots? regardless, i smell a fish.

That chart posted above should stop any further conversation about this EA, and Broker for that matter. Meaning that ANY EA that recommends FinFx as their broker of choice should be labeled guilty until proven innocent.

I don't have any experience with Finfx and have not formed an opinion on them yet, and there seems no doubt that they operate under Finnish laws.

However, they are not located in any financial centre like Helsinki. They are in a small town at the Russian border, hundreds of kilometers from the capital in the middle of nowhere in the forests. But they are only a couple of hours from St Petersburg. Check it on the map. I would be surprised if the outfit wasn't run by Russians who hire employees across the border, to get the benefits of a Finnish outfit that is more attractive to foreign investors than a Russian firm.

They don't care about your funds. They just want to flog off their system.
