dave....it is a manual system. you have to enter the trades.

The EA doesn't trade every day. Last week was a very good week for me!!

Breakout Genius is an automatic program not manual. it will eneter the trade itself, if we are talking about the same EA.

it opened a trade (on 3rd dec @1.5610 )and closed with profit. :)

 

It only trade when conditions are met (cci & trend filter thing)

hello for all, if we make a try-backtest 1999 to 2004, the performance is terrible.

Been runing ver 3 for 2 weeks with 5 out of 6 trades winners. not sure what ver 4 has but i am happy with ver 3. left all settings default.

loss was 40 pips which was std settings of TP 40 SL 40

Hi

 

Keep it set to default. mine is working just fine. Also what i have found is that when the trade gets to a point the SL comes up to BE, which is great however like this morning the GU reversed so i manually got out for +20, then watched it go to hit where my SL was. I think its a great EA as I dont have to wake up so early. but if it does enter a trade and your SL is moved to BE keep an eye on it.
