eggzactly
Thank you eggzactly! But I would apreciate it very much if you would please give more details on how to use those settings. For example, If you please interpret the values used in default settings, it would be of great help! Many thanks! Hi, The time filter is : Is since entry passed x minutes, the take profit will be y, example : TC_1L_Start_Time=15 ----------- passed 15 minutes from entry trade TC_1L_Profit=3 ------------------our target now Volatility filter is the difference between previous bars and current bar, if the difference is higher then x value, no trade, because market is volatile. regards, smurf43 and iliotest
metin
invalid time It shows : "invalid time" during GMT 21-22 which are the actual trading times, and I suppose that's why it doesn't trade. Any suggestions to solve this issue, please.... Metin

metin
The EA only trades from 21:00 to 21:45 GMT. What time was the message "invalid time" issued, and what is your GMT setting? My GMT setting is (0), I've been using a forex.com demo account (4 digit). This message showing the GMT time on the screen seems to appear as "invalid time" as soon as the trading time gets in. Broker time remains o.k. Regards, Metin

expat1967
Oops, looking at my trades for this week. The EA took a trade during the London session well in profit ;) Lets check this timing issue/invalid trade time out. The scalper itself works pretty good so far. Znake
I made a backtest of the year 2010 for EURGBP and USDCAD, both include some big loosers. How do your backtests looks like?
expat1967
I made a backtest of the year 2010 for EURGBP and USDCAD, both include some big loosers. How do your backtests looks like? My backtest was looking not that bad, yeap some loosers over major news events as for many scalpers. Trying a newsfilter though, but have to fix this timing issue as well. Cheers Oh, I did not save the backtest. Was a while ago. Number of trades was average if I recall it well. I am using Tickdata for detailed backtesting on either FXCM or fixed Spreads on a medium level. Cheers
videoman
Oops, looking at my trades for this week. The EA took a trade during the London session well in profit ;) no one trade on eurgbp for the last 2 weeks I removed expert, I prefer trades every day, not 2-3 times per month for 2-3 pips

guymelloul
hey there. this ea shows some great potential because it has many parameters to optimize. i m optimizing and sorting the resaults by profit factor which is extremly high. my trading hours are 21-24 gmt+1. the great thing about this ea it that it has extremly low DD. i will optimize and test more pairs than jusy EURGBP and USDCAD, i think it will do great. will publish here my resaults of forward testing by the end of decmber.
