Has anyone been able to educate Cruscottov1.0 yet?

 

Would love to see what method they are using for currency strength. Can probably incoporate in my EA. Appreciate any help.

This indicator looks great, but it freezes my Mt4.

Have tried for hours, but the only solution is to shut down Mt4.

 

Also Before loading the indicator to a chart, try reducing the number of bars that MT4 loads by going to Tools>Options>Charts Tab and reduce the number of bars in history & number of Bars on chart. Try the lower numbers first, if that helps speed things up you can always increase the number of bars later.

This indicator serves a good complimentary screen to decide which pair you might want to trade coupled without a good strategy. I am not sure it will work well as a stand alone tool.

The in10tion newsreader discussed elsewhere in this forum does pretymuch the same as the cruscotto but takes up less screen space. I use only the indicators with the news section disabled because it uses too much memory and slows down everything.

The Cruscotto Indicator is good, but it uses too much "CPU cycles and Memory resource".

 

Has anybody managed to de-compile the Cruscotto Indicator? It would nice to know what algorithm the Cruscotto Indicator uses, so we can improve it and make it more efficient using less "CPU cycles and Memory resource". If anybody can de-compile the Cruscotto Indicator, please share. Thanks in advance !!!
