MetaCrazy Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 deadsoul, can you explain what the variables mean? what is the difference between the different lock modes? which time frame is best? it's a slow back tester but the results look good. the lot size, however, is an issue. Quote
halcyonn Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 would like to ahve the lot size fixed it may still have some potential. Quote
iwjw Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 There is a parameter TestInfo at the end of the list If you set it = false you can go with smaller lotsize in BT e.g. risk 0.1 on 10K starts with 0.1 lots halcyonn 1 Quote
halcyonn Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 (edited) iwjw you are a gem, thanx! this ea though is no gem.backtest show large drawdown and small profits with reduced lots and with big lots it shows good profits and a blowup both in one go. with 100000 in demo it makes 235000 in about 4 months on nzdusd.no other pair survives a 4 month backtest with large lot size Edited August 21, 2010 by halcyonn Quote
