JasonKwok
came across this site matchpeg.com/mqldefender/FAQ.aspx that offer EA or Indicator encryption to protect codes from de-compiled and copied. Is there a way to get around the encryption and get the codes? Thanks.
Abdulisback
Yes, you will have a better luck if you try on Russian forums. It used to be really hard till some guy who worked for MT4 sold the source code of MT4,, at least that what they have told me when I contacted them... they are pretty honest and serious about their business. I think what they do right now is get you to keep the code with you and send out signals to reciever EAs that are protected mith Mql deffender

JasonKwok
Thanks for your offer. So far, I have not see any EA using MQL defender to encrypt their EA or indicators. I'm curious with this technology and thought that someone would share how they overcome the encryption. In order for the encrypted EA to work, the MQLDefender program needs to be loaded first, else when MT4 started, the encrypted EA will be marked as damaged and deleted. This implies that encrypted EA will not be able to run on VPS. Think no commercial VPS would grant their user with administrative rights to run the MQL Defender program. Please share if you know how to remove the encryption.
