bigdir
This has been mentioned in another thread as being quite good. I managed to get a Russian version of the archive - it should be educated although I haven't tried it yet. I have translated some of the directory names into English, however the manual is still in Russian... www.2shared.com/file/bOIAg4Nb/3052.html
CW2
Hi, You can get something in the thread of euronis v4160; http://indo-investasi.com/showthread.php/3718-euronis_v4160/page3?highlight=euronis here is the new manual in english for v4160, but It is very similar: http://www.4shared.com/file/143699702/3b3c197b/readme_v4160_eng.html Edited July 31, 2010 by CW2
Abdulisback
Euronis is not a good EA,, it may show great results for a few months maximum before wipping out. Please check this link: http://www.onix-trade.net/?act=monitoring_stat2&xid=11366 The crossover mode could actually blow up an account in one day. After watching this trading for over a month,, I dont think the Author of Euronis has any experience in actual trading,, other wise he wont hedge by buying say the EurUsd and selling the GbpUsd thinking he would be dealing with two currencies when in fact, he is dealing with three! if the Dollar decides to drop, or sky rocket then he is screwed! Another note is with the scalping strategy,, it may do a very good job but never is consistant,, it doubles a position from the same level as the first one, and would buy the high for a higher high and trades the two barriers of a trading range even if the trading range was only 15 pips thick! hoping a breakout wont happen! Dynnis, the Author of this EA certainly does not know or understands anything about trading, he is just a great programmer, thats all! My advise is, stay far away from this and never look back! Cheers! robjojr and halcyonn
bigdir
Might be worthwhile checking out some of Birt's forward tests here: http://www.myfxbook.com/members/birt/euronis-4/12393 And his great review here (of v4160): http://eareview.net/archives/140 His backtests make it quite clear that the system is spread sensitive which means it'll probably take a bit of analysis to determine which brokers & pairs are suitable. Regarding "blowing" the account, Birt also comments on the fact that there is a setting to limit risk & number of open trades. When he uses a reduced risk the drawdown is much more manageable. If you have an EA that doesn't need this type of analysis before going live with it, please let us know ;)

bigdir
Hi abdulisback - I have done a few backtests on EURGBP (v3052) and I must say that the equity curve is rather unstable. That said, with 5% risk, it seems to be able to hold a steady break even until it finally comes across favorable market conditions. This is when it makes a few gains. All-in-all, from what I've seen so far I would tend to agree with you that there's nothing here to write home about..
