Doing a quick scan of recent days (July), based on my understanding of this system, and using only the basic 22 pips TP, I see the following backtest results: Fri 0730 (today): no qualified setup (MA crosses through box) Thu 0729: -15 pips Wed 0728: -15 pips Tue 0727: -15 pips Mon 0726: +22 pips Fri 0723: no qualified setup (MA crossed box) Thu 0722: +22 pips Wed 0721: +22 pips Tue 0720: no qualified setup (MA crossed box) Mon 0719: +22 pips Fri 0716: -15 pips Thu 0715: +22 pips Wed 0714: +22 pips Tue 0713: no qualified setup (MA crossed box) Mon 0712: +22 pips Fri 0709: no qualified setup (MA crossed box) Thu 0708: no qualified setup (MA crossed box) Wed 0707: +22 pips Tue 0706: no qualified setup (MA crossed box) Mon 0705: -15 pips Fri 0702: -15 pips Thu 0701: +22 pips Net: +108 pips Of 22 sessions, only 15 sessions qualified to be traded Of the qualified 15 sessions: 6 losing days versus 9 winning days So in general, it seems to be profitable. However, I would note that of the 6 losing days, 3 of them all came from this most recent week. So could this be a beginning of a losing streak? In 1st is based of supersonic i will named Sonic Breakout. If you have reading ebook, draw two vertical lines at 4.00 Gmt and 6.00 Gmt. Doing that with correlation of your broker, example, if your borker is Gmt + 2 Draw two verticals lines at 6.00 and 8.00, allright ! 2d time use TF M15 chart, when bar touch the first vertical line draw a horizontal line just above the low price of candle, repeet this action for the second vertical line and place a horizontal line at the high price (candle) Ok ! After pace a Moving average exponiental Value 100 (choice of color no most important), the priciple sonic system is based on the way of MA is above the box or below indicate your trading action sell or buy ... Why you have others possibilities ? 1. The Reason this system use only TF M15 chart. And if applicate the rules of sonic example for 30 july 2010, No trade. Why ? Because the MA pass iin the box not aboved or below. 2. So now pass in TF H1, what you see ? The MA pass below the box ! You have now a possibilitie for action, survey the way of trend, And when he touch the high horizontal line buy action TP 20 pips, SL low of last candle, and he touch the law horizontal line sell action TP 20 pips SL the high point of last candle, simple and basic. You want more money ! Just after enter in a trade survey it, and modify your TP time after time. 3. Entrer two horizontal lines No Trade, is neutral Zone ... Try it ! 4. Complementary Indicators. Put in the times and you do not have to mess about with drawing lines. All done for you. Opinion around the fora is that LBO does not work - see '95 pips a day' '100 pips a day' and many others. This is not a comment about Yorgo's above, not looked at that but probably too many indicators for me. I tend to be a PA man. I would look at FF search for a breakout thread and find it there, it is the most commonly used indi for breakouts. If anyone could tell me how to post an indi I would be grateful, as would forexfx!!
