Boogie+Wackena EA (SHARE)

Recommended Posts

the ea is supposed to have won some championship, this can do with i-invetsasi refinements though for sure.

one test with small drawdown and reasonable profit on gbpusd 15 m is included alongwith the preset and the ea too of course.

a second test is also included where eurusd is the pair and 10 to 105 k rise but after a large drawdown at the start.

some input from peers and seniors is requested in exploring [possibilities with this ea.

Hi halcyonn

Made some quick tests on e/u and g/u and looking quite good for 2010

Greatest advantag it's not a MARTIN and it makes profit whith accetable DD (<20%)...we don't find that that often

What doesn't make sense in my oppinion is MaxOrders. Why should I open more than 1 trade at the same price, same SL and same TP only with different lot size?

Good find, thanks again

edit: 10yr BT on e/u isn't what one is looking for

seems anything prior 2009 doesn't work for the EA

number of orders increase and decrease in the ea inputs has great impact on results..getting 10 to 26 k on gbpusd with 4 orders rather than 2 orders as in the result above where 10 k go to 16.7.

but why not simply increase the lotsize and open 1 trade?

Ah, got it

Don't know whether it was intended by the creator, but it would make sense if you're already trading with your broker's MAXLOT size

Than you had to open additional positions with same parameter

But way to go I think...

Looking into the code....hmmm....it somehow works, but that's all

The parameter "StartTime" is overwritten in the init() Function...so regardless what you're setting it gets its final value within the code (for the pairs g/j,u/j,g/u,e/u,u/chf,e/j).

The parameter "Server_Local_Difference" is only used in a comment and not to get the broker's GMT offset

So this EA opens e/u trades in the time between 20:00 and 20:59

If the creator meant to open @20:00 GMT - what only would make sense - it doesn't work as it's coded
