b.gunn
Hi All, I'am trialling what I think is a very good system presented at www.currencycompass.net using some indicators as seen on the chart. The one indicator is a Coloured MA (High/Low), but I cannot identify the other. The original indicators are protected by MQL defender, so I do not have access to them anymore, but I was wondering if anyone has access to a similar indicator. http://img811.imageshack.us/img811/2923/eurusd.png The particular indicator I am interested in is marked with an arrow and question mark. Many thanks for your help in advance. Ben.
osirisja
Hi Ben Looks to me like it is the 'MA RIBBON FILLED MTF' indicator. You can google it as there are many instances, or get it here : http://www.forex-tsd.com/indicators-metatrader-4/1077-multi-timeframe-indicators-316.html I would attach it but it looks like attachments are not allowed in posts. Only thing I can't tell from your screenshot is what the MA's are set to. That said, it's a very useful indicator :-) Cheers Andy -- b.gunn

b.gunn
Thanks Andy, Cazador for the pointers, I will try them out and let you know my findings. Cheers. Ben
chrismcp
Hi Ben, I recall that in the videos this indicator is simply a MA for the next time frame up, e.g. if you're looking at the daily chart the stepped MA will be based on the weekly data. That's why it looks stepped, because the next level is not created until the higher frame completes its cycle. Hope this helps.
b.gunn
Hi chrismcp, Yes, I knew they were MA related, but just wanted to make sure, to see if there was anything similar out there. Thanks for your explanation it helps me a lot, everything makes much more sense now that I have all the material as well! Good Trading!
